Unsure about the rest of the students in NUS, I know I experience the full dynamism of the CORS bidding system as an Arts student.
A friend shared that as an intern with a particular fund management company, his role was to punt on the stock market with company funds. Paraphrasing his boss’ words, my friend said to the effect that his boss does not require the interns to explain their choices of purchases and sales, because the transactions suffice to reveal the characters of the interns.
If I were an employer, transcripts, grades and interviews are still a must, but I will very much like to see the CORS transaction histories of prospective employees too.
