Martian attack. Tom Cruise style. Two rounds of attack.
I was hit. Hid under car. Night time more peaceful. Next day another rouund. Escaped again. Thai aunty came up to me. Directions to a map where there are many survivors? Long canal along a path. Row of houses. I was to head for an “end” after 5 houses. Found the “end”. Read it but was startled by a family boarding a car at the house next to the “end”. Couldn’t trust them. Then two kids came over to take the map away. Had to con it back from them. A small strip torn from the centre.
