When I was in NUS (National University of Singapore), Wikipedia was in its infancy. I had a sense of what were credible academic resource and what were not. Wikipedia was not one of them.
The shock came, however, when a tutor for my Sociology tutorial class provided us material directly printed from Wikipedia.
Fast forward to today. Attitudes towards Wikipedia is vastly different.
