First World countries or cities in “self-inflicted” decline

Ask the statement always goes:

– now the money will flow from Hong Kong to Shenzhen

– with, Brexit, the United Kingdom will lose all they have, including subsidies by the poorer of those in the European Union

– United States will lose their world dominance with the trade wars and protectionism

The so-and-so country supposedly have a lot to lose.

However, proponents of the above statement neglect wilfully or ignorantly that despite the wealth of countries and cities does not equate to equal access to those wealth.
