This post is dedicated to Yio Janice.
Janice and I had a mini break from 4pm to 4.30pm today at the business canteen. Having bought herself a bottle of milk after we were done with our desserts, she had troubles poking a hole through the foil, which covers the bottle mouth, with the straw. In the end, she used her nails to scratch the foil open while I did my best to assist her by using eye power.
Janice: “Whatever.”
A parallel we subsequently drew from this incident is a joke poking fun at management levels in organizations. Simply put, they use eye power to get things done. Jokes aside, things do indeed get done.
