Went into a new business venture with a friend.
With respect to the launch of our upcycled furniture business, his idea is to advertise on a specific date to our potential maximum audience reach, which is pretty much likely limited only to our friends on the various social media platforms and then abit more, like how most other new launches are done, quite predictably to the effect of: “hey guys here we are doing this new thing. Please support and spread the word”.
My idea, on the other hand, is to pretend that we’ve been in business for a long time, so people buy off their confidence in us rather than from a altruistic need to support a budding local business. Once the basic is up, market like there is no tomorrow, in a manner that takes the attention away from the fact that we are new to the industry.
