Had lunch with a friend today. He also runs a business.
The long and short of it is that he is surprised at how easy I seem to be able to let my business go after ten years building it, just as he has.
I replied that the philosophical, as in really the philosophical bullshit of it is that we will all die and we can’t bring any of it to the nether world or the nought depending on what one believes in. It is philosophical yet it is a fact.
The other response to him is that if he can’t let it go now after 10 years, how will he be able to let it go on his deathbed after 30 years?
