I follow a few pages with a focus on Caucasian farms

It is heart wrenching to read about long running farms, held for generations within the family, being given up or put on sale.

Reasons include unviable business conditions and climate change.

On the other hand, the same can be said of farms in India where the frequency of such occurrences are greater and their situation more dire, often involving farmer suicides.

But they are often less talked about and it shouldn’t be that way.
