Lost souls of generations of educatees

From the ashes of the Great war rose an administration, supplanting military business, no less regimented itself, of schools and work places in which work ethics, taught and reinforced respectively, spread like The Great Plague. Its success is evidenced by mutterance, by not only a few, but by the present ageing generation and after, “I know not what to do when retirement beckons.”
