At a time when the purpose of the ever bigger, and by extension the ever more expensive diamond engagement rings, was being questioned, I took a step further to make mine in yellow gold with two Burmese rubies and a diamond.
I had also put my diamond to one side on purpose rather than have it in the center. This, I believe, gave my engagement ring a dimension of design making it unique compared to other single gemstone rings.
